Tarquin has worked as a Casting Agent for the past twenty years, as Managing Director of Europe's largest Children and Young Performer's 'Stagecoach Talent Agency UK, and Head of Global Casting for the Stagecoach Performing Arts Schools.' He has auditioned well over 30,000 students. Previously to this he worked as a professional actor working in all areas of the industry both here in the UK and in New Zealand.
Having run one of the largest acting agencies, Stagecoach Talent Agency so successfully, Tarquin decided that he wanted to take it over and has now renamed it ‘The Tarquin Talent Agency’. Having worked as a casting agent, he now consults to the industry on productions wanting to place children and young performers in the appropriate roles throughout all areas of Film, TV, Theatre, Radio and Voice-overs
Tarquin also continues to serve on the National Council of The Entertainment Agent’s Association and was their elected President for two years.
Mark's original artistic background is in Musical Theatre. During the eighties he worked as a performer in the West End in musicals such as Starlight Express, Pirates of Penzance, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Having always enjoyed taking photographs, when he decided to hang up his roller skates, he became an actors photographer. He has been working as a professional photographer since 1995 when he formed M.A.D Photography.
With a unique style; a mix of rapport, direction and a flare for capturing natural expression, Mark's photographs expose emotion, character and confidence.
This has resulted in Mark becoming one of Spotlights most prolific and well-respected photographers. Mark says he is delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with Tarquin and the Stagecoach Agency team and looks forward to meeting their young performers this spring on the photographic shoots up and down the country.
